Angels in Tustin
Angels in Tustin is an annual one-day effort to repair, rehabilitate, and improve the exteriors of homes of low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners. It unites people of all faiths and walks of life to assist people in need. Angels in Tustin is sponsored by the City's Tustin Pride Committee
Who is eligible?
Low income, elderly, or disabled Tustin resident homeowners who are not able to do repair work themselves are eligible for Angels in Tustin services.
How are homes nominated?
Various churches, synagogues, community organizations, service groups, and individuals may refer individuals to Angels in Tustin.
How are homes selected?
One or more homes may be selected for repairs and improvements. The Tustin Pride Steering Committee and the City of Tustin Community Development Department make the difficult determination as to whether a home meets the eligibility criteria, is in need, and is within the scope of Angels in Tustin.
What kinds of improvements are done?
A variety of repairs are performed including painting, trash removal, cleaning, yard clean-up, and/or other exterior work. |
