Holiday Display Awards

The Tustin Pride Committee has divided the City into 7 residential areas. The City's business districts comprise one large separate area. Each of the eight areas is assigned a leader from our group of volunteers. In December, the Tustin Pride Committee area leader tours his or her area looking for exceptional holiday season yard decor and artistic flair. The area leader uses his or her discretion to select the homes that are the most appealing.

In each area, six winners are selected, keeping with the theme of the holidays. Each winner receives a Holiday Display award sign that is posted in his or her yard for the holiday season. In addition to the awardees, many homes receive an honorable mention.

Once the six winners in each area are selected, the leaders tour the City together to select the best holiday display in each area. The eight "Best of Area" winners are then reviewed for the "Best of City" award.

For participating in our program, each winner is presented with a certificate. Tustin Pride has each address printed in the local newspaper so everyone can drive by and take a look at the beautiful decorations. For additional recognition, the winners' names are published a week later.
