Do you have suggestions about ways to improve things at the Senior Center ? Are you interested in getting more involved in activities or volunteering? Or do you want to find out more about the Center and its many programs? A great way to get informed and let your voice be heard is by becoming a Senior Advisory Board Member. If you are interested in applying for a position on the board, please call Marilyn Esposito at (714) 573-3345, for more information.
As a Tustin Area Senior Center Volunteer, you can make new friends, share your skills and talents, expand your interests and enhance the lives of other seniors. Volunteer positions at the Center are as varied and individual as you are! Why not teach a class in art, crafts, music, health and fitness or languages? Perhaps you would like to share your professional skills, or provide office support. To find out about these volunteer opportunities and many more, please contact Tracy La Scala at (714) 573-3346.

Tustin Area Senior Center Fund, Inc. Update:
Our Senior Center non-profit arm has been busy raising funds for many improvements and additions to our programs here at the Center. A brand new Transportation Van was purchased for our Senior Transportation Program and is now operational. In addition, our Kitchen Redesign Projected was completed September 30, 2008. Support from private donations, our Bingo program, proceeds from the Gift Shop and other money collections throughout the year from our own seniors, volunteers and staff make these projects a reality! Thank you for all of your support!
Every other month, news of the services, programs, and activities at the Tustin Area Senior Center will be included in this newsletter. You can stay up-to-date on all Center happenings by subscribing to this publication. Subscriptions are available for $6.00 per year. The following is just a sample of the information within the Compass.
