Beginning on January 1, 2017, the City of Tustin will begin to enforce the new 2016 California Building Standards Codes as required by State law. All permit submittals beginning January 1, 2017, must comply with the new 2016 codes. Pursuant to State law, the City has adopted local amendments that are reasonably necessary because of the local climatic, geological, or topographical conditions.
