MCAS Tustin officially closed in 1999. From 2003 to 2010, the City developed the periphery of the site because of its adjacency to existing infrastructure.
New infrastructure was needed to open up the interior of the site. From 2011 to the present, the City has made a significant infrastructure investment which has opened up the interior of the site for development. More infrastructure is planned over the next several years that will continue to open up development opportunities.
