Save Tustin's Citrus Trees

Spring Citrus Tree Gardening Infographic

California is known for its colorful citrus trees, and taking proper care of them is important to ensure these trees stay healthy and fruitful for years to come. In addition to watering, pruning and fertilizing your citrus tree this spring, be sure to inspect your trees for signs of a dangerous pest called the Asian citrus psyllid and deadly citrus tree disease called Huanglongbing (HLB).

The pest can spread the disease as it feeds on citrus tree leaves. HLB is not dangerous to humans or pets, but it is fatal for citrus trees and has no cure. For more information, please visit CaliforniaCitrusThreat.org.

If you have any questions or additional ideas for sharing this important information with your constituents, please don’t hesitate to contact me at (619) 838-8240 or [email protected]. Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide to help contain the spread of HLB.
