The Orange County Water District (OCWD) has begun construction on a facility to treat PFAS from four impacted wells located in Tustin. The project includes construction of pipelines to transport water from four wells to the water treatment facility. The treatment facility will be located at the existing Main Street Water Treatment facility at the intersection Main Street and N. Prospect Ave.
Pipeline construction limits include Prospect Ave. from Vandenberg Ave. south to Main Street, Main Street from Pasadena Ave. east to Newport Ave., and Beneta Way from Prospect Ave. east to Livingston Street.
OCWD pipeline construction is scheduled to start on Monday 7/24 at the intersection of Prospect Ave. and Beneta Way.
Construction hours are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. OCWD is committed to completing this project as quickly as possible. However, this timeframe could change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
