FILE OF LIFE: SENIOR OUTREACH PROGRAM

Program Overview

The "File of Life" program is a free medical and safety program for senior adults to assist emergency response teams in various crisis situations. The program components include an appliance magnet and wallet holder containing medical history and insurance information.

All Fire Authority personnel for the Tustin area have been instructed to look on the refrigerator of a senior adult resident for the "File of Life" information to aid in dealing with life-threatening situations.

GET INVOLVED

Do you have suggestions about ways to improve things at the Senior Center? Are you interested in getting more involved in activities or volunteering? Or do you want to find out more about the Center and its many programs?

A great way to get informed and let your voice be heard is by becoming a Senior Advisory Board Member. If you are interested in applying for a position on the board, please call Vanessa Osborn at 714-573-3345 for more information.

Volunteering Overview

As a Tustin Area Senior Center Volunteer, you can make new friends, share your skills and talents, expand your interests, and enhance the lives of other seniors. Volunteer positions at the Center are as varied and individual as you are! Why not teach a class in art, crafts, music, health, and fitness, or languages? Perhaps you would like to share your professional skills or provide office support.

  • Lunch Room: Someone to help out in the kitchen, serve food, sell lunch tickets, greet our senior participants, and/or help set up decorations. Looking for a person who is available any day from Monday through Friday each week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
