The Tustin Tiller Days Committee and the Tustin Parks and Recreation Department are very proud to present the 2019 Tustin Tiller Days “Celebrate Community” Festival and Parade. This year’s returning Platinum sponsor is the Tustin Auto Center. The festival will be held beginning with a special Carnival Preview Night held at Tustin Columbus Sports Park on 14712 Prospect Avenue, on Thursday, October 3rd with rides for only $2 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. The full festival opens Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission is FREE to attend the parade or festival.

The parade is a main highlight of the Tustin Tiller Days festival and features over 110 entries that include local celebrities and begins in Old Town Tustin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 5. This years’ Grand Marshall is former Tustin High and Miss Tustin, Terri Douglas, who has made a career in voiceover action with work on over 400 Feature Films, Animated Features, Video Games and Television Shows. Her most recent projects include Toy Story 4 and Secret Life of Pets 2. In addition, we have new participation from La Rancher 96.7 FM who will be doing some live radio broadcasts throughout the weekend and providing our celebrity guest Humberto Luna to ride in the parade. Humberto is a true legend in Los Angeles Spanish language radio and has an extensive career acting in 25 motion pictures. He was the first Hispanic to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Prior to the parade, join in the annual Pancake Breakfast, which is hosted by the Exchange Club of Tustin! This year the breakfast will be taking place in a new location at the Tustin Area Senior Center located at 200 South C St, beginning at 7:00 a.m. for just $6 a plate! Grab some delicious pancakes, then grab a seat along the streets for the parade!

New at the festival include the First annual Weiner Dog Races and Buffalo Wild Wing Eating Contests. In addition, Operation Warm Wishes has teamed up with Baskin Robbins to hold its second annual Ice Cream Eating Contest that will include an adult category. To sign up for any of the contests or find out more about the event, please contact Tustin Parks and Recreation at tprd@tustinca.org or (714) 573-3326.
