In light of state orders and guidelines where mass gatherings are currently not allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Street Fair and Chili Cook-off scheduled for June 7, 2020 in Old Town Tustin will continue, but with a twist.
“The Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook-off organizing committee is hard at work on options to bring the Tustin community together with virtual components of the event that everyone can enjoy from their homes,” said Mayor Dr. Allan Bernstein. “We have a very creative staff and committee, and I’m confident that a modified version will showcase those innovative ideas.”
The City of Tustin has a long history of working with local non-profits to bring the largest one-day chili cook-off to Orange County. With annual attendance records of 30,000 people and over 100 vendors, this will be the 36th year for the revised event.
