[ARCHIVED] Veterans Memorial Paver Program

Veterans Sports Park 06-2020 Obelisk Front View

The Tustin City Council and Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce applications are now being accepted for the Veterans Memorial Paver Program at Veterans Sports Park.

The Veterans Memorial Paver Program includes a 4’x8’ brick paver engraved in honor of a family member or loved one who has served in the United States Armed Services (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard).  The applicant or the Veteran being honored must have lived, worked, or gone to school in Tustin or have served at the former MCAS Tustin.  The cost for an engraved paver is $175, which covers the cost of the engraving service.

Included with each engraved paver is the opportunity to submit a photo and narrative about the Veteran for inclusion in the informational kiosk located adjacent to the Veterans Memorial. The interactive, touch-screen kiosk will contain information on individuals being honored at the memorial.

Pavers will be engraved twice a year: the month before Memorial Day and Veterans Day, and will be highlighted at annual events for both holidays.

As the focal point of Veterans Sports Park, the Veterans Memorial honors the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Services. In addition to the Paver Program and the informational kiosk, the memorial also features a dedicated element recognizing Tustinites who paid the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in service of their country.

Veterans Sports Park is located at 1645 Valencia Avenue, Tustin, CA 92782.
