Zone 6 Project Fact Sheet

The City will begin construction on Tuesday, June 17, as part of its Annual Roadway Rehabilitation and Sidewalk Repair Project within Zone 6 of the City’s Pavement Management Program.  The project area includes the streets of Myford Road and Edinger Avenue and is bounded by the I-5 Freeway (north), Tustin Ranch Road (west), Barranca Parkway (south), and Harvard Avenue/East City Limit (east). Initial work will begin on Myford Road at Michelle Drive, focusing on the removal and replacement of damaged sidewalks. Construction crews will continue southward through the project area. Pavement rehabilitation is expected to begin in mid-July.

The project will include the following improvements:

  • Slurry seal application and asphalt repairs to extend roadway life
  • Replacement of damaged curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and curb ramps
  • Enhancements to improve roadway safety, accessibility, and the overall driving experience

These improvements will help preserve the integrity of the roadway network, improve safety, and provide a smoother driving experience for residents and visitors.

Construction Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on non-arterial streets
  • 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on arterial streets
  • Estimated project completion: October 2025
