Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)

The City of Tustin Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is a multi-hazard preparedness document designed to be read, understood, and exercised prior to an emergency.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

The Plan is written primarily for city employees, federal, state and county governments, special districts who serve City of Tustin residents, and private and volunteer organizations involved in emergency response.

OPERATIONAL CONCEPTS

The operational concepts reflected in this plan concentrate on extraordinary emergencies and disasters, which can generate unique situations requiring unusual emergency responses and use of resources. Such disasters pose major threats to life, the environment, and property and can impact the well-being of large numbers of people. It addition to Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activation and management procedures, this document also discusses hazard identification, disaster preparedness, and recovery efforts.
