The Community Officer Program is an effort by the Tustin Police Department to bring our officers into direct contact with the residents of the apartment communities within our borders.
Long Term Relationships
Long term relationships are developed by opening many avenues of communication, which in turn builds trusts in the Department as a whole.
Officer Assignment
Under the Community Officer Program an officer will be assigned an apartment community and this will stay with them for the length of their career.
Program Goal
The goal of the program is to give a familiar face to connect with from the department who can answer questions regarding on-going issues and crime trends in the area. These officers are committed to promoting the Department’s Community Governance philosophy by working in partnership with our community.
