Future Plans
The entire ATEP campus, when complete, will sit on approximately 65 acres. The first permanent ATEP building is being constructed by Irvine Valley College and will is located at the corner of Lansdowne Road and Valencia Avenue. This 32,492 square foot building is scheduled for completion in December 2017 and will focus on career technical education by including classrooms, specialized teaching labs, a certified testing center, economic and workforce development offices and a student resource center.
Future plans call for a Center for Innovation in Healthcare Education to be constructed by Saddleback College. This approximately 30,000 square foot building would offer training in:
- Advanced diagnostics
- Experiential practice
- Inter-professional collaboration
- Patient simulations
- Robotics
