City Budgets
The City of Tustin has a bi-annual budget process, with funds appropriated annually for the fiscal year which begins in July and ends in June of the following year. Our approach is to combine the strategic plan and annual financial plan for operations and capital improvements.
This process enables us to direct our resources towards programs and activities with the greatest potential to successfully achieve our Vision and Purpose.
ADOPTED biennial BUDGET - FY 2023/25
On May 23, 2023, the City conducted a Budget Workshop on the 2023-25 Proposed Biennial Fiscal Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for the Fiscal Years 2023/24 & 2024/25, which allocates resources that reflect the City Council’s priorities set forth in the City’s five-year strategic plan. On June 20, 2023, the City Council adopted the 2023-25 Biennial Fiscal Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program.
Adopted BUDGET - FY 2022/23
On June 7, 2022, the City conducted a Budget Workshop on the Proposed Annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for the Fiscal Year 2022/23, which allocates resources that reflect the City Council’s priorities set forth in the City’s five-year strategic plan. On June 21, 2022, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2022/23 Budget.
2022-2023 Budget-in-brief
On June 21, 2022, the City Council adopted the Annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023, which represents year two of the 2021-2023 Biennial Budget. The budget is a 253-page document that provides a comprehensive funding plan for the year. A "Budget-In-Brief" has been prepared to provide an overview of the City's budget information in a user-friendly and manageable format for the public to read, which builds on the City's commitment to fiscal stewardship and transparency. 2022-2023 Presupuesto en breve
El 21 de junio de 2022, el Concejo Municipal adoptó el Presupuesto Operativo Anual y el Programa de Mejoras Capitales para el Año Fiscal 2022-2023, que representa el segundo año del Presupuesto Bienal 2021-2023. El presupuesto es un documento de 253 páginas que proporciona un plan integral de financiamiento para el año. Se ha preparado un "Presupuesto En Breve" para brindar una descripción general de la información del presupuesto de la Ciudad en un formato fácil de usar y manejable para que el público lo lea, que se basa en el compromiso de la Ciudad con la transparencia y la administración fiscal.
